A Record-Breaking Day at Rosamund’s Apple Pressing 🍏🍎
Last Sunday’s Apple Pressing at Rosamund Community Garden was our biggest yet! 🌞 With record crowds, homemade soups and cakes selling out, Mary Makes Jam raising funds for charity, and children’s nature fun from Earthlings, the day was full of energy. Our amazing DofE students kept the presses busy all afternoon. Early signs suggest we’ve doubled last year’s takings, helping fund future garden projects. 🍏

We’re looking for a compassionate, organised Project Coordinator to lead Zero Carbon Guildford’s flagship Community Fridge. Since 2021, the fridge has welcomed 13,000 visits a year, saving 29 tonnes of food and 73 tonnes of CO₂. This hands-on role is perfect for a people-person who thrives on building community, tackling food waste, and keeping projects running smoothly.
