What We Do
Rosamund Community Garden brings people together to learn, grow, and care for nature. Everything we do supports a greener, more connected, and biodiverse Guildford.
Sustainable Growing
We grow organic produce using low-impact, sustainable methods that improve soil health, boost biodiversity, and reduce carbon emissions.
Wildlife & Pollinator Conservation
We protect bees, butterflies and other pollinators by maintaining wildflower areas, hedgerows, and insect-friendly habitats across the garden.
The Hub
Built by volunteers using traditional cobbing and wattle-and-daub techniques, The Hub is a welcoming space the community can use for classes, events, and gatherings.
Learning, Community & Wellbeing
Workshops & Events
From willow weaving to wreath making, we run year-round workshops and regular “Big Job Sunday” sessions that bring people together to learn new skills.
Volunteering & Wellbeing
Our open volunteer days offer a friendly, inclusive space to get active, meet new people, and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of spending time outdoors.
Sustainability Advocacy
We work with partners such as the Guildford Environmental Forum and Surrey Wildlife Trust to promote eco-friendly, climate-conscious practices in the community.
Our Impact
From school groups to corporate volunteer days, the garden brings people of all ages together - building community, inspiring environmental action, and strengthening local connections.
