We’re thrilled to announce that HEAT (Home Energy Advice Team) has secured funding to continue offering free home energy advice across Surrey until April 2027. Led by Zero Carbon Guildford with partners Circular Dorking, Energy Action Redhill & Reigate, and Surrey Climate Commission, HEAT helps residents cut bills and carbon through in-person surveys, thermal imaging, practical fixes, and access to grants and insulation support.

This Sunday at Tunsgate Quarter, the community came together to celebrate Bee Aware Week — and to shine a spotlight on another vital, but struggling, species: the hedgehog. With support from Zero Carbon Guildford, Surrey University, and local partners, families enjoyed a day of hands-on crafts, expert advice, and practical tips on how to make gardens safer for wildlife. From pinecone hedgehogs to building feeding stations, the event was packed with inspiration on how to protect hedgehogs!
