This year for Great Big Green Week 2026, we’re bringing our community together around one shared theme: rivers.

Join us for a week of events designed to get you outdoors, learning and taking action. From walks and workshops to hands on surveying and growing sessions, there’s something for everyone to get involved in.

​

We’ll also be at Guildford Green Day on the High Street, sharing how you can test river water for pollutants and E. coli, while raising funds for a community led testing site on the River Wey to help monitor river health year round.

​

Working alongside River Wey Trust and Water Rangers, we’re part of a growing local effort to protect our waterways.
