About the Event
Join us at Rosamund Garden for an approximately 1 hour walk, 2.5km walk around the our community nature garden, orchard and chalk grassland regeneration project.
Learn about our techniques for nature friendly gardening, our role as a community wellbeing space and our partnerships with other local groups. See our unique eco-build cob shelter and our beautiful recovering chalk grassland meadow with views over central Guildford.
Opportunity to buy homemade refreshments at the end of the circular walk beginning and ending at the Community Garden.
We are located just off Burgess Way at GU4 8PP. Please park on Longdown Road or walk from town centre via Pewley Down along Burgess Way. If arriving by bike you can bring your bike into the garden.
Walk suitable for all ages but unfortunately not wheel chair accessible.
Please note toilet facilities are limited to a long drop compost loo accessed via steps. Route includes gentle gradients and rough grass paths amongst long grass / shrubs including Blackthorn.
Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.
