About the Event
Over the past few months, The HOPE Project, funded by Surrey County Council has provided a variety of workshops and activities, these include creating crocheted butterflies to share messages of HOPE across the county and online. We also facilitated guided walks around Surrey by a local historian and Shifa’s Asian women’s group visited Southall.Â
All these activities positively impacted the emotional and mental wellbeing of those that took part; embedding mental health promotion and building communities and connectedness.Â
To raise awareness of The HOPE Project, we are holding an exhibition at Zero, in Guildford. The exhibits will be a of mixture butterflies crocheted by clients, messages of HOPE, pictures and testimonials from our clients who have taken part. There will also be information about Catalyst and the work we do in Surrey.Â
Catalyst is a not-for-profit organisation, which offers access to confidential support for physical health and mental wellbeing, people affected by drug and/alcohol use and specialist outreach. Our aim is to reduce harm to individuals, their families, and communities across Surrey.Â
Alongside showcasing the work we do, the exhibition over two days will be packed full of fun things to do and get involved in, see our Eventbrite page for more details closer to the time.Â
Visitors from of the public, the community, and professionals interested in learning more about Catalyst’s activities are all welcome.
