About the Event

Fancy a doughnut webinar?

No, we’re not covering the great ‘glazed versus sugar-coated’ debate. We’re delving into the concept of Doughnut Economics and its impact on humanity and the planet.

Doughnut Economics offers a vision for what it means for humanity to thrive in the 21st Century. It is an economic framework and concept developed by Kate Raworth, an economist and Senior Associate at Oxford University’s Environmental Change Institute.

The concept offers an alternative perspective on traditional economic thinking by proposing a model that strives to balance social and planetary well-being.

Sounds like a pretty sweet idea, right?

Well, it gets even better.

In 2023, the Doughnut Economics Action Lab (DEAL) launched a tool to help bring more organisations into the doughnut to build an economic model that operates within the limits of our planet while ensuring a fair and prosperous society for us all.

So if you're interested in learning more about using Doughnut Economics to unlock transformative change in your business, come join Ali Fisher of Plans with Purpose and Nancy Hyne of True Horizon for a free online webinar to explore in more detail.
