About the Event
Join Blackwater Valley Friends of the Earth for a powerful and thought-provoking screening of Sauvages, hosted at ZERO with support from Zero Carbon Guildford.
Set on the edge of Borneo’s rainforest, the film follows a young girl and an orphaned orangutan as they fight to protect their forest home. Through a moving and visually stunning story, Sauvages explores the global impact of deforestation, the role of corporate supply chains, and the fight to protect Indigenous communities and wildlife.
After the film, stay for an open discussion to reflect on the themes and what they mean for us locally.
