Rosamund Community Garden Walk

Come and see a hidden nature gem on the edge of Guildford: Rosamund Community Garden is a 17acre organic no-dig garden, orchard and nature reserve. See our eco-build project and learn about our work to restore our north facing area of chalk grassland.

Description of walk:. A circular walk taking in the community garden with discussion of our gardening projects and techniques, as well as our unique eco-build structure. Walk down the hill around our chalk grassland reserve, spot the butterflies and wildflowers and learn about conservation grazing. 

Refreshments: we will have a small stall selling homemade cakes and teas / coffees / squash at the garden so you can purchase refreshments. All proceeds will go towards the garden. Please bring CASH!

Any specific walk / conditions issues: Walk includes uneven ground, long grass and gentle inclines and stiles 

Dogs allowed / not allowed? Well behaved Dogs on leads allowed.  

Please arrive on foot or by bike if possible. If driving please park considerately on Longdown Road
