Mending Circle

Our Mending Circle is more than a place to repair clothes. It is a welcoming community space where people come together to share skills, creativity and stories.

Inspired by the idea of the commons, we believe that knowledge grows when it is shared. Our volunteers are there to facilitate the space, offer guidance and encourage conversation, but everyone who comes along has something to contribute. Whether you have years of sewing experience or have never picked up a needle before, you can learn from others and share your own skills and ideas.

We see every participant as both a learner and a teacher. Through repairing and making together, we create a space where knowledge, creativity and experience are exchanged freely. It is an opportunity to meet like minded people, build confidence, learn new techniques and reconnect with the value of caring for the things we already own.

Bring along a garment that needs repairing, a project you are working on, or simply come along for a chat. Together we are creating a community where repair is an act of care for our clothes, our community and our planet, one stitch at a time.
