About the Event

Run By: Centre For Understanding Of Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP)

What is degrowth, and why is it the most important thing you've probably never heard of? In this talk researchers from the University Of Surrey's CUSP discuss the basics of degrowth, why it's so essential if we are to deliver a habitable planet to future generations, and what it means for communities looking at finding their role in tackling the escalating climate crisis.

Learn about the limitations of our current economic models in tackling crises, the difference between degrowth and jazzy slogans such as 'green growth', and what an earth a Doughnut has to do with it all!
