Increasing Our Woodlands

A ZERO member has decided to re-wood part of their private land for climate and environmental reasons and has teamed up with The Woodland Trust to make it happen.   

The property backs onto ancient woodland and the Woodland Trust has provided 550 trees and 250 shrubs native to the area. Please join us for a day (or two) of tree planting in the tranquil village of Ewhurst, where your efforts will increase biodiversity habitats for local wildlife, improve drainage and air quality.   

If you are able to provide a lift share or would like a lift, please email info@zerocarbonguildford.org after requesting tickets to this event.  

*Please bring your own tree planting equipment (spades etc) as we are very limited, as well as a lunch if you are able to stay the whole time. Tea and Cake provided!
