About the Event
Join us for a relaxed group ride from Guildford to Godalming along the mostly off-road Godalming-Guildford Greenway. Starting from ZERO on Walnut Tree Close, we’ll follow a scenic and peaceful route through meadows, parks, and woodland paths — perfect for a gentle Sunday cycle.
We’ll finish at the Godalming Bandstand, where you can unwind with some live music and a well-earned rest in the park. All welcome — bring a bike, bring a friend, and enjoy the ride!
Cycling Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Start: ZERO, Walnut Tree Close, Guildford
End: Godalming Bandstand
Route: A leisurely 8 km cycle using the Godalming Guildford Greenway Click here to view
Difficulty: Easy, mainly on a cycle path and a few roads out of the way with small amounts of traffic. One small section requires pushing your bike up a hill.
Activity Details:
Bring picnic blankets, drinks and snacks and enjoy live music.
Live music concludes at 5pm, stay as long as you like.
Stay for as long as you like in Godalming and get a train home (bike reservations are not required)
If you're up for it, take the route back you've just learned!
Safety Reminder: Please wear appropriate clothing, including comfortable shoes and safety gear such as a helmet and bike lights. High-visibility clothing is also recommended.
