Energy Champion Training

Zero Carbon Guildford is looking for people across Surrey to join their successful Energy Champions team. Energy Champions carry out free home energy surveys to help residents save money by saving energy.

Since the project began, more than 2,000 surveys have been delivered across Surrey. With demand rising this winter, more volunteers are needed to expand the team.

✅ Free training (20 Sept or 4 Oct, 10 - 4pm at ZERO, Guildford)

✅ £30 per survey + up to £5 travel expenses

✅ Flexible hours – do as many or as few surveys as you like

✅ A chance to help local households and residents cut bills & save energy

Full training is provided free of charge, with upcoming sessions on 20th September and 4th October (10am–4pm) at ZERO, Riverside Business Centre, Walnut Tree Close, Guildford (GU1 4UG).

Energy Champions receive £30 per survey plus up to £5 travel expenses, and can choose how many surveys they want to take on – making it ideal for those looking to top up their income, work flexibly around family commitments, or stay active in retirement.

The project is fully funded by the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme.
