EDI at ZCG: Exploring how we can be more equitable, diverse and inclusive in Zero

At Zero we take Equity, Diversity & Inclusion seriously.  It’s important for us as an organisation internally & for the community we serve externally.  At this workshop we have the opportunity to take some time out together as a team to explore EDI in more depth.  We’ll be working with Ali Fisher, Founder of Plans With Purpose, who ran a very successful EDI lunch & learn for the SBN earlier this year. 

The half day workshop will be split into two sessions.  In the first, Ali will help us explore what EDI means to us personally and establish a shared language and core knowledge in EDI, looking at social identities, privilege & unconscious bias.  In the 2nd session, we will explore why EDI matters to Zero & how we might better embed it into all that we do to further grow our mission & engage more of our local community in meaningful climate action.
