About the Event

In this workshop, we will have a brief introduction to some of the Doughnut Economics concepts, and use them to think about the Guildford and Surrey society - what are our issues and opportunities, where are we already doing good things, and what could be changed for the better? No prior knowledge necessary - everyone is welcome to contribute.

First published in 2012 in an Oxfam report by Kate Raworth, and explored further in her book published in 2017, Doughnut Economics provides a way to think about the way we run our societies, and the how to meet the needs of everyone living in them, while not exceeding our planet's resources and capabilities.
