About the Event
At the next two meetings of the Climate Fiction Book Club (February and March) we will be talking about Barbara Kingsolver's 2012 novel Flight Behaviour, a gripping page-turner about class, poverty, climate change - and butterflies.
It is a long book so we are splitting it over two meetings, to discuss the first half and second half of it respectively. Please also register for the February meeting if you would like to discuss the book in full. We have one copy of the book available, which will go to the first person who asks for it. There are many cheap secondhand copies available online or in charity shops. We look forward to seeing you in February and March.
If you would like a copy of the book or have any questions please contact Edwin Gilson at e.gilson@surrey.ac.uk.
The Climate Fiction Book Club is a collaboration between Zero Carbon Guildford and the Institute for Sustainability at the University of Surrey. Each month we read and discuss a work of climate fiction - that is, fiction about (although not exclusively) climate change.
