Climate Cycle: Kate Strong

In a couple of weeks Kate will start the wheels turning on a journey around the UK aimed at highlighting the climate & nature crisis. Over 90 days. she'll be covering 3000 miles, making 30 stops to carry out sustainability-themed activities with the community groups across the UK driving forward climate action and environmental protection.   

Her mission is simple (though not easy!): To inspire the nation into positive climate action. Kate's 3-month cycle ride, on a bike hand-made from bamboo, is to inspire people into action around rewilding our oceans and land, protecting flora & fauna as well as engaging in cleanup projects.  

The events will be themed around 5 categories that are key to giving us a chance of reversing biodiversity loss, avoiding climate tipping points, and building a secure future for the people and places we love. 

These are:
