About the Event
Art has held a critical role in driving meaningful change throughout history. This holds true as we stare the climate crisis squarely in the face, with time running out to minimise the impacts of climate breakdown and ecological destruction.
The arts have a vital contribution to play in educating and inspiring our responses to escalating climate change. Art in many mediums has the power to ignite powerful conversations around our interactions with each other and the natural world, and in times when the divisions amongst us are being stoked art can be the unifying force which helps to bring together collaborative action.
ZERO will be hosting its first climate, nature and environment themed exhibition, with local artists from Guildford, Surrey, and beyond providing a range of installations which bring attention to the perilous situation our communities face.
