Butterfly transect walk on the Mount

A walk around the Mount fields following approved method for surveying a site for butterflies. We should see a range of butterflies including Brimstone, various Skippers, Common Blue, Meadow Blue and with luck the rare Small Blue.

Approximate walk distance: 2 miles or 3.2km.

Please wear long trousers and sensible footwear, and bring a water bottle as well as suitable protection for the weather on the day.

Please note that this walk involves walking on a gradient and over rough ground in places.
