About the Event
Ever wondered what the air around you is really like? Or how green spaces can help cool down a city?
Join us for a hands-on adventure where children become real climate detectives!
Using thermal cameras, air quality sensors, and live data, you’ll investigate your surroundings, uncover pollution hotspots, and design your own green, climate-friendly spaces. Together, we’ll explore how simple changes – like planting trees, adding green roofs, or creating rain gardens – can make our towns cooler, cleaner, and healthier.
What’s in store:
See the unseen with thermal cameras and pollution sensors
Map your findings and spot “cool zones” in the city
Co-design solutions to fight heat and pollution
Take on the ‘My Cool & Clean Spot’ challenge with a creative drawing or design
Win a certificate, have fun, and make a difference!
Perfect for:
Children aged 8–13 and their families (no science background needed!)
Educators, youth workers, and community groups welcome too.
