Bike Repair Taster Session

Join us for a bike maintenance and repair session at Zero Carbon Guildford, delivered in partnership with experienced mechanics from Surrey Bike Project.

Whether your bike needs a minor adjustment, a puncture repair, or some general TLC, this session is an opportunity to get your bike running, and if you want, learn some practical skills and gain confidence carrying out basic maintenance yourself.

We're also looking for people who would like to become involved in a new volunteer-led community bike repair project. If you've ever thought about learning more about bike mechanics, helping others keep their bikes on the road, or supporting sustainable travel in Guildford, this is a great place to start.

Bring your own bike along to be fixed and/or learn how to:

• Fix punctures

• Adjust brakes and gears

• Carry out basic safety checks

• Keep your bike running smoothly

• Understand when more specialist repairs are needed

No previous experience is required.

Places may be limited depending on demand, so booking is recommended.
