Greenpeace "Make a Splash" Quiz Night

Be  part of the action! Greenpeace is protecting the South West Deeps MPA  (Marine Protected Area), 200 miles off the Cornish coast, placing  boulders on the seafloor to deter destructive bottom trawlers, just as  has been done successfully on the Dogger Bank and offshore from  Brighton.

This is a big project for Greenpeace - getting each of  these huge boulders to a place where it will block destructive fishing  will cost £10,000. We think that's a price worth paying to protect the  oceans, but we can only do it thanks to our supporters.

To support this work, Greenpeace Surrey will be hosting a quiz night on Saturday 17th September at ZERO.

Get your team together and come join us for an entertaining and informative quiz night, a real night out in a superb venue, with lots of other people who care about our planet and about what we do.

ZERO's cafe will be serving hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks, but feel free to bring in your own drink (and glasses if you prefer not to drink out of our mugs!). We'll have some nibbles on the tables, but bring your own food if you need serious nourishment for your brain cells.

There's no ticket price! Please donate as much or as little as you think you can reasonably afford, either on the door, or in  advance.
